Repo(we)rGreece is a grassroots collective initiative that seeks to redefine the image of Greece and to contribute in reclaiming the country’s role and influence on the international chessboard, based not on the failures or the interests of the few but on the strengths, talents and achievements of the many.

Technocrats, academics, and diplomats from both the public and the private sector initiated the idea of RepowerGreece.com. The Bank of Attica, the Hellenic Postbank, and FORESIGHT Strategy & Communications constitute the financial support for the initial design and development of the campaign, while the Institute for Regional Dialogue and Strategy, a non-profit organization, acts as the coordinator of this initiative.

By underlining and exploring result-oriented perceptions as they are reflected through success stories, thoughts and opinions which stand out and inspire, the initiative endeavors to showcase a side of Greece that will effectively confront misperceptions within the international community while, at the same time, revitalizing Greek morale.

Repo(we)rGreece engages the country’s sectors of strategic interest, such as Education, Culture, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Agribusiness, Tourism, Energy and Shipping, in an effort to isolate and draw attention to the individuals and businesses who, through an enduring spirit to move beyond the immense and unjust challenges, collaborate, create and forge solutions.

While constructing an incubator for development through a multi-layered program that blends public relations, grass rooting and public diplomacy, the initiative also creates a forum for ideas and strategies, thereby generating synergies between critically thinking individuals and dynamic institutions.

The discussion will encourage the audiences’ ideas and provide the opportunity to support the campaign and become ambassador of a country that moves on, evolves, corrects its mistakes, and reclaims its role and influence on the international chessboard.

We look forward to having you here at the Athens Centre!

Best regards,

Katja Ehrhardt
